DRTPC is concerned with development issues in Egypt.

 

Organizational structure:

DRTPC was established as a collaborative research effort by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Cairo

University and carries out research projects involving both universities.

DRTPC conducts scientific and technological research related to development objectives in Egypt Principal areas of research interest include: manufacturing, economic planning, water resources, hydrology and agriculture, energy, transportation, urban studies, housing and health care

 

Meetings, conferences and seminars:

DRTPC offers short courses, workshops, seminars, conferences (including an annual conference) and lectures.

 

Publications:

Non-recurrent: Findings are published in primary journals and as research reports and conference proceedings.

Recurrent: DRTPC Newsletters (in English and Arabic).
